Barred Up Scaffolding is a small family business proudly Whanganui owned and operated by brothers Rob and James Dickson.
Established in 2020, Barred Up Scaffolding provides residential and commercial Scaffolding Solutions as well as safety nets.
We pride ourselves in the work we do, and the safety of our clients is of the upmost importance to us.
Our Scaffolding and safety nets are erected in accordance with the Work Safe Best Practice Guidelines and inspected weekly for ongoing peace of mind.

New build, addition, painting, maintenance, or just good old kiwi DIY we can provide safe, cost-effective working platforms or edge protection. With a background in building & trades we know what’s required to get the job done and we strive to meet the requirements of all our clients.
Safety Nets
Correctly installed safety nets are a very effective fall arrest system. They are designed to save lives and reduce injuries by catching and absorbing the energy from a falling body and also help protect those working below them from falling debris and tools.
Our nets meet European Safety Net Standards, they are produced by a leading Spanish manufacturer from high tenacity 4.5mm braided polypropylene twine. In accordance with NZ safety standards, our nets are regularly inspected and tested annually.
